Material trimming

This material trimming rake is a dedicated railway maintenance attachment matched with wheel excavators, specially built for ballast shaping and track bed leveling.

Constructed with thick wear-resistant manganese steel and evenly arranged curved rake teeth, it features a wide working surface for balanced force. Driven by the excavator hydraulic system, the floating rake can finish ballast gathering, slope trimming, track bed surface smoothing and excess gravel removal in one pass to form neat and uniform ballast layers.

It supports multi-angle lifting and rotation with the excavator arm, adapting to tight working spaces including turnouts, platforms, straight and curved tracks. The robust anti-impact structure avoids deformation and tooth breakage under long-term gravel friction. Equipped with quick hitch, it can be rapidly swapped with ballast cleaner, tamping head and other attachments. Widely applied in railway routine maintenance, track bed renovation and ballast trimming after sleeper replacement, it greatly cuts manual leveling work and improves standard railway maintenance efficiency.
