Buy a Chinese excavator? Your guide to the easy exit process

This simple guide will take you through the main steps from contacting us to receiving your desired excavator, making each step visible from your point of view.

Step 1: Communicate your needs and get accurate solutions

It all starts with your needs. Please feel free to contact us and tell us the type of excavator you need, the specifications (e.g. bucket capacity, engine power, working weight, etc.), the intended use and most importantly - the country/port of destination. Our experienced international sales team is not only knowledgeable about the product, but also familiar with the regulations and practices around the world. They will listen carefully to your needs, recommend the best matching model for your specific use case and local situation, and provide you with a clear, no-hidden fee initial offer (FOB/CIF etc terms are optional). This stage is key to two-way communication, ensuring that we fully understand your expectations.

Step 2: Confirm order and arrange production

When you are satisfied with our plan and price, we will enter the formal order confirmation stage after both sides confirm that there is no mistake. You will receive a detailed sales contract for your review and signing. Payment of an advance payment, usually 30 per cent of the total contract value, is the signal to start production. After receiving the advance payment, we will immediately arrange the production schedule for you and put your equipment into the manufacturing queue. You may receive a production start notification from our factory to let you know that your equipment has started manufacturing. We understand your concern about the schedule.

Step 3: Manufacture and preparation before delivery

In the manufacturing process, we strictly follow the quality control system. When your excavator is close to completion, we will inform you of the final inspection before leaving the factory. If possible, you are welcome to inspect the goods in person or by a third party inspection agency to ensure that the equipment fully meets the requirements of the order and is in good condition. At the same time, our export department will start preparing drafts of all necessary export documents (e.g. packing list, commercial invoice, etc.). After the equipment has passed the inspection, it will be thoroughly cleaned, necessary debugging, rust-proof treatment and firmly packed to be ready for long distance sea transportation.

Step 4: Shipment and logistics tracking

Once the equipment is ready, we will coordinate the transportation to the designated port and complete the shipment according to the trade terms agreed in the contract (such as FOB or CIF). We will provide you with copies of the all-important ocean bill of lading and detailed shipping advice including vessel name, voyage, estimated port of departure and date of arrival. You can use this information to track the status of your shipment in real time with the shipping company or our logistics partners. We understand that knowing where your equipment is in transit is of great concern to you.

Step 5: Customs clearance and destination delivery

When the device arrives at your destination port, the real "landing" begins. At this point, you need to complete and accurate original export documents (including bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of origin, etc.) provided by us to complete the import clearance procedures in your country. This usually involves paying customs duties and VAT (be sure to check your local tax rates ahead of time). Once customs clearance is completed, the equipment can be picked up from the port. We will assist in coordinating the inland transportation of the equipment from the port to your final designated location (if this service is included in the contract). Eventually, you will receive the device in the field. In order to ensure smooth start-up, we usually provide detailed operation and maintenance manual in English, and can arrange technicians to provide on-site or remote start-up guidance according to the contract.
